Where can I get a 5 or 6 speed automatic for a 96 4×4 ford f-150?

Power is a function of the engine.
That 351 only had 210 horsepower and the heads and intake flow pretty badly from the factory.
You can not make another trans work for cheap as you’d need a computer that can control the trans as well as finding a 5 or 6 speed auto that would even bolt up to a 351W.

You wont find something to bolt in, have to make huge modifications. Check out gearvenders for an overdrive unit. It only works in 2 wheel drive though.
