I am thinking about buying a transmission for my truck, but the transmission I am going to buy is coming out of a 1987 Ford Ranger manual transmission. I have a 1994 Ford Ranger that is also manual. Are they both the same? Or being that it is older, is there much difference?
Actually, I called a transmission shop today and they told me that I couldn’t use an 87 transmission for a 94 because of the electrical differences… Thank you anyway!

im not going to use the truck for work just for drving the family! so i dont c the use in spending more money on 4wd if im never going to use it ! but i dont kno much about these trucks and i need to kno if a 2wd is good enough!
