I realize that the mirror has to come apart, but how do you get it apart?

and how difficult would it be to do myself, If I knew a guy with a hydraulic lift(gets discounted car parts) and has a lot of mechanical savvy.

I have replaced the thermostat but wonder if it was not done correctly? It will heat up when idling but as soon as I start driving it starts blowing cold air and then soon will over heat. I am afraid that I am doing more damage by driving it. Any thoughts are appreciated. I am a single mom and not sure what to do and am afraid of getting ripped off by a mechanic. Thank you.

Front Passenger side window…Replaced window motor, regulator ( cable driven ) and switch. window will still not go up from master switch or passenger switch, but will go down from both. What else should I check to fix this problem
