I have a 2000 Ford F150 Pickup with the optional turn signal indicator at edge of the side view mirror. The bulb has burned out and I can’t figure how to get to where it is. The owners manual does not state how to get to it. Thanks
I realize that the mirror has to come apart, but how do you get it apart?

I’m a very amateur mechanic. I replace things like spark plugs, alternators, starters, maybe a water pump when it breaks. I think I need new tie rods on my 95 Ford Ranger, but I’m not sure I’m up to the job. How hard is it?

RevUrEngines asked:
So what could be the causes of a 88′ ford ranger to stall? Its got new fuel pump, oil pump, distributor module. 20 minutes later it’s back in action though. Do you think it could be a heating core or radiator problem?

John asked: I’m looking at picking one up for about 850, he says the engine needs word but it still runs. I’m looking to turn it into a grease mobile and was wondering what the range would be on rebuilding the engine. Like what would the ranges be, from a minimal rebuild to a complete overhaul.
and how difficult would it be to do myself, If I knew a guy with a hydraulic lift(gets discounted car parts) and has a lot of mechanical savvy.
really helpful so far, thnx.

When I go in for my oil changes the oil changing guys keep telling me my front and rear differential fluid is leaking. Does anyone know how much it would cost me to fix this? Also is this something that needs to be a top priority on my list?

Julie R asked:
I have replaced the thermostat but wonder if it was not done correctly? It will heat up when idling but as soon as I start driving it starts blowing cold air and then soon will over heat. I am afraid that I am doing more damage by driving it. Any thoughts are appreciated. I am a single mom and not sure what to do and am afraid of getting ripped off by a mechanic. Thank you.
