I have a 2001 Ford F-150 Supercrew and a 1999 Ford F-150 Regular cab both are two wheel drive. Will the parts work from my 99 on 01? It need parts but i don’t want to buy any if the parts work from my 99.

In cold weather the oil indicator goes up an then down and then when the truck warms up the needle goes down to the normal position. The oil level is fine, but I do smell oil under the hood. I think it migth be the oil sending unit. What do you think?

The front wheels on my truck have been locking up and the only way to undo it is to put it in reverse and drive for a bit. I think it has something to do with the transmission or the 4×4 feature?
