I have a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport and I need detailed instructions(pictures would be great but not necessary) about what kind of hitch to get, how to install the hitch, attach the trailer, and connect the trailer’s brake lights. The trailer would be about 2500-3000lbs.

My boyfriend needs to get an idea of how much it cost to replace the freon in his 1994 Ford Explorer Sport 4WD. What type does it need and how much does it cost to replace? Also is there a website I can go to to look at for info on this?

I am thinking about purchasing a 98 Ford Explorer Sport with 129000 miles on it. I have read reviews and out the 68, only 3 were bad and 1 was about average. I not familiar with Fords so I need to know if they are dependable, safe, and reliable vehicles.

rocknroll2night asked: I have a 1998 ford explorer sport. I need to replace the rear sub woofer speaker?
Does anybody know what size it is and perhaps the best replacement? I spoke to ford on the phone and they tell me they have no idea.

The subwoofer in the back of my 2002 ford explorer sport broke and I cannot get it out of the hole it is in. I removed all of the screws and tried prying it out with a hammer and still cannot get it out. Any ideas on how to remove it? Does it require any factory tools to get it out?

I have sqeaking coming from the front suspension on my 98 Ford Explorer Sport. I got underneath and nothings broke, and it’s pretty clean except for minor rust. It only squeaks when the chasis bounces up and down. A few people from explorer clubs tell me its a common problem that can be resolved by greasing the suspension and bushings, but I dont know how. Thanx for any advice in advance.
