I know that the EPA did not actually conduct and MPG rating on them due to the size and weight. Pehaps someone out there with one could help me out. I was in the market to buy one. I was looking at the newer 6.0L turbo diesel V-8’s with 4×4. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

On my F250 7.3 turbo diesel: While backing a trailer up a slight grade in 4WD, tranny fluid started spewing from the horizontal tube of the compartment just forward of the main transmission fluid pan. Upon further investigation I discovered that a corner bolt was completely missing that helps hold the thin metal plate to the bottom of this compartment. What is the compartment and the tube that I am describing, and what would cause tranny fluid to gush from this compartment?
